1. Billing Due Date: All water and trash bills are due by the 25th of each month.
2. Late Fee: On the 29th of the month, a $12.00 late fee will be applied to all accounts with a balance due.
3. Disconnection Start: Disconnections for past due accounts begin on the 26th of the month.
4. Water & Trash Service Shut Off: Water and trash service will be shut off for in-town residents on the 30th of the current month. Fees for shut off are $25.00 for disconnect & $25.00 to reconnect water.
5. Disconnects Completion: Disconnects for water and trash customers in town will be completed by the 30th of the month. Disconnects for trash-only customers will be completed by the 10th of the following month.
6. Disconnection Fee for in & out of Town Trash Customers: Trash customers with a past due balance will incur a $65.00 disconnection fee, plus 2 months prepay on trash accounts.
7. Payment Arrangements: Payment arrangements are available for accounts with past due balances. To set up a payment arrangement, customers must call the Town of Sugar City Office, agree to the terms, and sign an arrangement agreement. A $25 Payment Arrangement Fee applies to all customers who set up payment arrangements.
